Installed: professional removal of your old battery (proper safety procedures, negative cable first), inspection and cleaning of the battery tray, wire-brushing and cleaning of both cable terminals, installation of the new battery with correct orientation and positioning, secure attachment of the hold-down bracket, connection and torquing of both cable terminals to specification, application of anti-corrosion protectant to both terminals, and a post-installation starting and charging system test.
Disposal: your old battery is loaded into our service vehicle in a spill-proof containment case and taken for proper recycling. Lead-acid batteries are classified as hazardous waste and cannot be thrown in the trash. We handle the disposal so you do not have to find a recycling location or deal with a heavy, acid-filled battery sitting in your garage.
